LORD NUMB
Welcome to the mysterious world of Lord Numb
Lord Numb administers cpr to - 'The New Electric Gospel!'
Staying in the electronic artery, we move into alternative territory with Lord Numb's New Electric Gospel. Being huge A3 fans, the title alone sold this to us, and the blasphemous possibility of a robot hymn book enticed us further. Before we get on to cyberized priests and world domination, let's talk facts - this is and does what it says on the tin, well. Shades of Devo and transgressive experimental Bowie, this release should blow any old-school electronica fan out of the water.
Also, if someone does raise a robot army with questionable religious objectives, then we have a possible suspect when it comes to what they are listening to/being driven by.
Special mentions for Tectonic Plates and Insects. FETCH THE NETS.
Lord Numb has been welding guitars and machinery together ever since he built Laboratoire Numb from scraps of space junk. He lives in a world where the Synthesizer lives in perfect harmony with the guitar and where everyone has gills and a jet pack.
His influences are many and varied and include: Mr David Bowie, Rammstein, Devo, Kraftwerk and Neu.
He is a regular on the magnificent DANDELION RADIO and made an appearance in this years festive fifty.
His 5 track EP, THE NEW ELECTRIC GOSPEL - is available now on WHITE LABEL MUSIC - www.wlmusic.co.uk.
